I am a motion/graphic designer with experience in creating a wide range of creative products, from designing logos and print collateral to producing animated product ads and educational animations.

Before starting FW Graphics, I worked for 15 years as the senior designer at Festo Didactic, the leading company for technical education, where I produced technical illustrations and animations for educational courses as fundamental as “Introduction to Physics” to “A Guide on How to Operate a Navy Destroyer”.

I live in Arden, a little town on the outskirts of Asheville, NC, with my wife and five neurotic cats, and am currently working on several eLearning courses and 3D animations as well as a few oil paintings to keep the creative juices flowing.

Instructional Design

As the title implies, this category covers any animation to make it easier for your clients to understand your product or service. This animation can be produced for any media, from placing it on your website via Youtube,  Vimeo, or your own hosting platform to creating a spot for TV or the movie screen.

Another use for this type of animation would be the implementation of an eLearning course. I have worked for 15 years as a Senior Designer for the world leader of technical education, and in this capacity, I developed a variety of instructional animations by taking complex concepts and turning them into clear and concise animations for the client.

Motion Design

Motion Design encompasses a more artistic and visually stunning form of animation for your business. The most common use is to take your static logo and create a unique and mesmerizing 3D animation by using visual and sound effects to bring it to life. Those clips can be used as an introduction for a business presentation, your online video series, or any other purpose where you want your client to instantly recognize your product or service.

Another use is commercials, where your product is recreated in 3D (most car and beauty product advertising is done in 3D!) and presented in a professional and clean presentation.
